Kinetic Therapy™ – is the bilateral rotation of patients greater than 40˚ to each side. It increases oxygenation and reduces risk of ICU-acquired pneumonia
Low air loss therapy distributes pressure and helps to regulate the skin microclimate. Achieving the optimal range of skin temperature and humidity is a vital factor in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers
Pulsation therapy mimics the body’s natural movements to improve blood and lymph flow, thereby increasing oxygenation and reducing edema
Percussion therapy helps loosen pulmonary secretions and supplements manual interventions

Indications

Treatment and prevention of pulmonary complications associated with immobility

Contraindications

Unstable cervical, thoracic and/or lumbar fracture
Cervical and/or skeletal traction

For Percussion Therapy:

Multiple rib fractures
Persistent intracranial hypertension
Bronchospasm
Post-operative periods following cardiac surgery
